Boiler shall not be used unless it is registered and certified.
Boiler shall not be used after expiry of period mentioned in Certificate / P.O.
Boiler shall not be used unless transfer is reported to Director of Steam Boilers.
Boiler shall not be used at higher pressure than the max. pressure for which it is certified.
Boiler shall not be used unless it is in-charge of person holding the certificate as required by Rules.
Explosion of boiler / boiler component shall be reported to Director of Steam Boilers within 24 hrs.
Such report shall contain true description of nature of accident and of the damage, if any, caused to
boiler / boiler component, the injury / death caused to person or damage to any property.
Works, such as repairs, welding, tube replacement, etc. shall not be carried out to boiler / boiler
component without sanction of Director of Boilers in writing.
